There are various methods of fragrance distribution. Older models of fragrance diffusers often still use heating or evaporation to spread scents. The downside is that these methods can compromise the integrity and quality of the fragrance. Our fragrance machines work with a unique fragrance nebulization, also known as cold nebulization.

Fragrance distribution techniques

AromaDiffusing.nl specializes in fragrance machines for aroma oil. There are basically two ways of fragrance distribution in this type of fragrance systems.

Heating and evaporation

In heating and evaporation, the aroma is poured into a reservoir. This reservoir is heated from below, causing the fragrance to evaporate. To evaporate more fragrance, the temperature of the fragrance system is increased.

Ultrasonic distribution

In ultrasonic fragrance distribution, ultrasonic vibrations are created in the reservoir of the diffuser. Typically, this technology involves aroma diffusers. The high vibrations create a mist that spreads the fragrance in the room.

Cold air diffusion or nebulization

In cold air diffusion or nebulization, cold air is passed over the aroma. The aroma is carried along with the air that is being dispersed. A fan ensures the reach of the fragrance.

In addition to these two techniques, there are also fragrance diffusers with dry fragrance diffusion. The air is then passed over fragrance-impregnated pellets.
